Played to fill a bit of time while in Edinburgh. It was a little bit basic in terms of decor and puzzles, but everything worked as it should, it made sense, and there were a few neat moments.
We played as a team of three and finished in half an hour (while not rushing) - I would recommend enthusiasts play in a team with no more than that or else you simply don't get your money's worth (with the exception of two particular puzzles that required co-operation, I would actually so it's pretty easy to solo).
A fun room with different types of puzzles with a few twists and βah haβ moments along the way. A good solid room, well worth a visit if youβre in the area.
A really solid game with some fun quirks and twists on some classic puzzles.
Fun room, with one or two really quirky features. An interesting premise, which felt quite original, and an exciting start to the game which really got you in the mood. Some great hosting too!
Really enjoyed this room. A good mix of thinking vs doing puzzles, and some requiring teamwork.

Operation Odyssey is one of two games at Can You Escape, and got off to a good start when the operator gave the surprisingly detailed initial briefing in character. The level of costume was simple but the effort adds to the game. The briefing included considerably more instructions and overview of the mission structure than normal, and arguably that shouldn't be necessary - a good game should allow players to discover the structure as they play. But here it seemed to me that it fit the story and...
