This is a fairly decent room, with some good puzzles, scary moments and interesting history. However, the story is quite convoluted and for more experienced teams, there were a limited amount of puzzles we hadn't seen before. Would definitely recommend Witch over Plague!

The favourite game of half of our team, although I was having alot of deja vu (having played a game VERY similar to this in Blackpool), this is another excellent game from Escape Key with well thought out puzzles with good immersion and excellent room production.

I was expecting something that was more of an escape room combined with a history lesson. This was not that, but it was still good fun, although we did definitely start to feel the pressure towards the end!

We really enjoyed Plague. It was the most fun of the rooms we played during our trip to Newcastle, and at Escape Key, and I wouldnโ€™t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. For folks afraid of jumps scares โ€“ there are a few small ones, but it isnโ€™t by any means a โ€˜scary roomโ€™, just more on the side of eerie. In terms of difficulty, despite the website saying itโ€™s hard, we found it a comfortable โ€˜mediumโ€™. If youโ€™re in Newcastle and only have time to play one room, this should be very high up on your list!
