Another brilliant escape room from Lucardo, every single detail is though through in their rooms and it just really immerses you in the scene. highly enjoyable! 

Probably the worst room we've done.  It has all the potential of being a great escape room, but we were let down by shoddy diy worksmanship, and bad hosting. On arrival, the host didnt have any enthusiasm, there was no real explanation of the back story and what we need to do. Once in the room, it came to light that many elements were in fact broken and didnt work. We got to a certain point in the room and asked for a hint, to which our host replied "Well you've only got 35 mins left so im going to help you by opening a bunch of stuff". This then made us more confused as we didnt know if the puzzles we were solving were related to what had already been opened or if they were to move further. I understand this was an effort to be helpful but it honestly just created more confusion.  By the end of it, one of my friends just tried the patient ID on the main lock and it worked and let us out... This patient ID had been visible the entire time, but obviously no one would look at it and assume the game was that easy! We asked the host about this and were told it isnt normally just there but because certain things werent working he put it there this morning.  It was just thoroughly disappointing to be honest. We went into it thinking it was going to be amazing but it just seemed to need a lot of fixing. Once we actually escaped, we walked back into the building to be asked by our host "Do you have a booking?"... Clearly unaware we were the group in the Ambulance and completely unaware we had escaped which again isnt great, which is also why we dont have a time for completion. We also had to ask for a photo to be taken which is usually standard procedure at this point. It just felt very amature and very shoddy, and all 4 of us left feeling short changed. A shame as Vault 17 at this venue was a brilliant game. It seems they've really just focused on making one brilliant game, and havent put the effort into the others

The room concept itself was great, and the fact this place has its own communal area complete with bar and pool table is an attraction more escape room places should have. The only fault we had with this room was that it was difficult to be immersed as there was no background music playing, so as we were trying to find the clues we could hear other people outside in the communal area and it was difficult to really absorb the atmosphere. It was also a little clunky with the fact in order to ask for a clue you had to just stand and hold a sign whilst facing the camera, which in essence is a fine idea, but when you ask for a clue at a moment where the host may not be looking at the camera, you can end up standing there for a good 5 mins holding this sign up waiting for a clue. Apart from that this had the makings of a really good room and we will definitely be back to complete the rest!

Really good room with a great surprise near the end!

This game was really good, but also really hard. I think our main downfall though was trying to think a bit too far out the box.

This game is so considerably different to The Invitation, both in game play and in quality. it is so much better. I love a room where you have to search for clues rather then just have difficult puzzles to solve. This was really interactive and once you knew what you were doing, really enjoyable.

This room is ok if you like complexed puzzles, but there isnt a lot of actual interaction with the room. and it is just the one room. Plus a couple of the puzzles were a bit too hard!

This room was interesting, and we did enjoy the Egyptian theme, but the decor could do with a touch up. The wallpaper was hanging off the walls and other items in the room were clearly suffering from bad wear and tear. When we finished, the game master told us this is the room a lot of families with children do, which made sense as to why the decor may be a bit worse for wear. But the puzzles inside were great. My only major gripe with this escape room company is that you cannot book online for an escape room on the day (so today), and if you try to ring no one seems to ever answer the phone. I ended up having to Facebook message them to which i received a response about 2 hours later saying apologies but we dont have anything til 5pm. I couldn't help but think maybe they just decided not to open up til late as they had nothing booked in.

This room was fun. My only issue was that it was a bit of a repeat of what we have seen before. But apart from that, it was your typical murder mystery escape room. The puzzles weren't to difficult but enough to push you. 

This room was Incredibly hard. The puzzles in it were really difficult and even with 5 of us we struggled. It involves a lot of thinking outside the box, and calculations. There was a lot of indepth reading to do, and it wasnt incredibly clear what to do. The kicker was the Key Card we were supposed to be finding, was stuck and hidden out of the way so we didnt see it when we were supposed to!! 

The Design/Decoration in this Game was great. A lot of effort had been put into it, and the Look outside the cabin, and in the cabin were really authentic. We did enjoy this room, however it was a bit disappointing when we managed to "Break it" Twice. One time we managed to get a key out without using the means in which we were supposed to (i guess we hacked it) - so the game master came in and re-set. Then at the end, there is a sequence which you need to get right, and we thought it had done it right and it wasnt working - Then the Game Master came in again and had to open the hatch for us, as it turns out the sequence was correct, but the function was working -_-. However we did enjoy it when you look past these little hiccups.

Another great room from Lucardo. Some parts were pretty creepy but it was great. Some of the puzzles really made you think outside the box! did it with just over 4 mins to spare. This is a typical Murder Mystery type room. You are a police investigator and the murderer has struck again - You have to inspect his latest crime scene to try and find the next victims postcode! so you're basically tearing the room apart for clues!

Lucardo never fail to impress. The amount of effort that goes into their rooms is un-rivalled with any other escape rooms I have been to so far. The Prison is our 5th room with Lucardo and again, did not disappoint. This is a great game for people who like to play a role / get really immersed into a game. It involves using/investigating your surroundings more than trying to solve puzzles. We really loved it and came out with our best time yet!!
