It's a game that instantly assumed you should know how to use actual lab equipment. At the time, there were very little instruction on how to use any of it, and it did feel quite distressing.
At some point, players could pay to get more time in room, in increment of 20 minutes. By which point, we found the room too confusing and the puzzles too obscure, with very little sign-posting, so we were actually happy to get out without rescuing Lili the monkey.
The gamer has probably been improved and changed since 2018. At the time, I wouldn't have recommended it.
