Was very excited to take on this new room by 11th Hour Escape Rooms - last year we  “walked the plank” in the ‘Avast fortune pirate room and had so much fun so couldn’t wait to try this local gem! The hosts are so passionate and friendly, they put a lot into these rooms and there’s a great variety of tasks to work through. Highly recommend!

Theming was on-point and a great selection of challenges, though some were particularly tricky. The clue and solution prompts were helpful, a little tough to refer back to though when you move along in the game… the team were great and helped us when we were stuck!

Creative, nostalgic and fun - superb hosts and a fun selection of games. Definitely a challenge for two players but great support from the team!

Hemel’s only escape room and it was well worth visiting. The theming is on point, brilliant variety of challenges - I got great satisfaction at the final stage to complete the game! Our group loved this one, look forward to returning as there are plans to open another soon.

This game has clearly had a lot of investment as it was high tech and the interior was immersive with stunning, clever details. The game itself was quite challenging with some slightly repetitive tasks, and there is one segment where you are at a disadvantage if HP is not your thing… a bit disappointing to have not learnt what the final challenges would have been to escape, but hope to return to their new rooms.

On the surface, this room looks very bare with lots of padlocks and codes, but the variety of clues around the room were clever and the ending was exciting! There were a couple of tasks that were hard to grasp without clear explanation, but our games host was brilliant and guided us to a successful escape (perhaps with a slight time bumper!)

A fun pirate themed room with a friendly, passionate host with a clear customer-centred attitude - we didn’t succeed, but were close and the gent took the time to explain the final steps with us. Would definitely return and do more of their rooms!
