Really fun escape room and adaptable dependant of group size and experience. As there were only 2 of us we opted to do the shorter version of the room but after the came our games master (mark?) showed us the extra room. Your also handcuffed at the start of this game and the theming is very fun

This room has promise, some great puzzels and good theming however our games master was less than helpful, they only gave us clues when it appeared to suit them which meant that when we got stuck we did not recieve the help needed. 

Not a bad room but very maths heavy and not the most exciting theme but themed well. Host was nice and everything seemed to work

cute game, nice theming. A little too easy 

Second game played with Escape the past after being impressed by their room: The Anatomist. Once again the games master was in full costume and very welcoming (Beth). 

The story brief itself was very fun and spooky, with the games master's acting aiding the whole thing.

This is a small escape room but it has alot packed into it via the cabinet (as mentioned in their name), very technical and yet it still sticks well to it's 16th century theme. Puzzels are challenging but do able although we did need abit of help. Lots of suprises and definately our favourite escape room that we've played so far within Edinburgh 

Broken tech, room needs some serious TLC

Would be so much better if everything worked. Beautiful theming and some fun puzzels

Beautifully designed room, very well themed and it does feel like you have indeed stepped into the past. Our games master was even in costume and in character for the entire brief. Clues were given over a speaker which breaks the illusion a little but i don't know how else they would do it. 

Games master (Charlotte) was very nice and the puzzels themselves are not too difficult, and tie in to the theme of the room.  Theres a good variety of puzzels and some fun little tech pieces, plus a fun suprise at the end.

One of our favourite rooms in Edinburgh

We enjoyed this room, the story and reveales throughout were very fun although some puzzels seemed somewhat a logical stretch . We also hate to find a 3 try safe, whats the point of having an hour if the last puzzel locks itself for a set number of minutes if you get it wrong?

Theming very good, clue system is enjoyeable

This room is well themed, and has some brilliant puzzels however there's just too many of them, by the end of the game one half of our team had solved half of the room and the other the other half, having missed the sections we werent on. The games master communicated via a radio which was crackly and meant we did'nt always understand what they were saying. The games master was lovely but that system didn't work for us.

One of the best rooms we've done. The theming to the hosting to the puzzels, everything was so cleverly thought out and well done. Our games master Ronan was a real stand up guy and never broke the illusion. The clue system is very original and the finale is... well I shan't spoil anything but very very fun.

Good theming, nice host. Room could use a little TLC and puzzels aren't anything original but the room is very fun. Finale is cheesey but good fun. Clue system is via an ipad which isn't my favourite and the games master enters the room when called which breaks the immersion.

Room is well themed and thought out. Teams are split in the beginning so I wouldn't recommend this for a team of 2 unexperienced players. Overall this is a strong room, however the finale puzzel even when explained to our group of 6 seemed to still make zero sense. I've spoken to other people who have done this room and they've said the same. 

Room is fun, our team had a first time escape room person and even they found it easy. The theming is fine but to the same standard as a childrens pirate themed play area. Wasn't keen on the clue system as the games master just enteres the room when a switch is flipped. Puzzeles fun, but nothing too original
