Riot Games

The hosting really made our experience, and if every host is as committed to the immersion as ours was you’ll definitely have some fun! Some solid puzzles, nice design and a good atmosphere.  

After playing the other two games and being told that this one would be opening while we were in the area of course we had to give it a try! The game itself was original and very in theme, we particularly liked the pub area for this. The real show stopper however is the immersion. I cannot say too much for fear of spoiling the surprise but they really outdid themselves! If you like atmosphere and theatrics you’ll find this room highly enjoyable. Overall it was just excellent, really memorable and I’m so glad we came back

‘Mission: Abducted’ was the second game that we played during our visit and a brilliant balance to ‘A Missing Mayhem’. Where the previous game was funny and quite padlock heavy this room was intense and had a mix of locks. Some really cool puzzles we hadn’t seen before and some interesting presentation that got us thinking and really put an emphasis on teamwork. Definitely a challenge but everything made sense. The set design is brilliant and very immersive, aided by clever use of themed out tech, which helps to build the tension towards a really satisfying game end. I’m a fan of a big finish and without giving too much away this room 100% delivers that. 

The theming was very well done, the room looked very much like Christmas but without too much additional decoration sending it into red herring territory. I always appreciate a good theatrical element and this one managed a nice balance of not too over the top but also not so sporadic that it felt out of place. The same can definitely be said for the character interaction which we found to be very funny (We went for the ‘adult’ version.) It was consistent and well in keeping with the story but didn’t detract from the puzzles and gave us enough room to explore independently. In terms of puzzles, we felt there was some nice surprises and some great use of tech. A few good challenges too, especially for a Christmas room. 

Zseniális díszlet, a tervezés aprólékos részleteire való tiszta figyelemmel - nagyon ügyes. Valóban úgy éreztem, hogy a feladványokat beleszőtték a díszletbe, nemcsak rájuk pakolták, ami nagyszerűen magával ragadóvá tette. A színházi elemek tovább fokozták ezt, nagyon hangulatos volt! Anélkül, hogy túlságosan elárulnám a játékot, különösen nagyszerű munkát végeztek a végén, és határozottan érezni lehetett a történettel járó feszültséget. Bár a menet lineáris, mégis van annyi teendő, hogy senki se álljon csak tétlenül, vagy zavarja a másikat.-Brilliant set with clear attention to detail in the design - very clever. I really felt like they had blended the puzzles into the set rather than just adding them on top which made it wonderfully immersive. The theatrical elements built this up too, it was very atmospheric throughout and everything was so in-keeping with the theme. Without spoiling things too much, they do a particularly great job of this towards the end and you definitely feel the tension that goes with the story. Linear running flow but there’s enough to do that no one was left standing around or working on top of each other.

Szépen kivitelezett, nagyon menő dizájnnal. Még nem játszottam ezzel a szobával a TRAP-ban, így nem tudok nyilatkozni semmilyen témával kapcsolatban, ami megváltozott. Zoli (úgy gondolom) remek házigazda volt, rendkívül kedves, és pontosan annyi segítséget nyújtott, amennyi szükséges volt. A zajszűrő fejhallgatók kellemes meglepetésnek számítottak. Néhány izgalmas pillanat és érdekes technológiai megoldás! Szép folyamatosság, nem túl lineáris. Alig várom, hogy visszatérjek, és kipróbáljam a Saw-t, amit a házigazda ajánlott.
Beautifully executed with a very cool design. I hadn’t played this room prior to its move from TRAP so cannot comment on anything theming wise that has been changed. Zoli (I think) was a great host, super kind and gave us just enough help. The noise cancelling headphones were a lovely touch. Some exciting moments and an interesting use of tech! Nice flow and not too linear. I’m looking forward to going back and trying Saw which the host recommended. 

Perhaps this just wasn’t our room, but honestly I didn’t enjoy it much at all. I feel terrible saying it, especially as our host was very nice, but it was just wholly disappointing. From the set design to the props to the puzzles everything was lacklustre which is just such a shame

We really wanted to love this room, particularly as it is set in a genuine prison, however we left feeling really underwhelmed and a little cheated. It seemed almost like a wasted opportunity! 

Wonderful set and some great effects. The game flowed excellently, really smooth and with a solid mix of puzzle types and a great ending

Hosting really made the experience for us - super engaging and very helpful. The room itself was excellently themed and had some surprises! I’d recommend particularly for families, I think this would be a fantastic room to get younger family members involved. Good fun!
