This was my favourite out of all the ones available at this location, but honestly that’s not saying much. The host was OK and the room was OK, it was the best of a bad bunch. My experience in general here has however put me off from going to any Houdini rooms in future.
This was a fun escape room to do with my friends - we managed (at the time) to get #2 on the leaderboard because the puzzles were logical and lead nicely into each other.
Pretty good with a couple of maintenances that need doing. An odd design that requires the GM to fire multiple visual cues, rather than having inputs. This means player feedback can be a bit hit and miss.
Good theming, decent production values.

When reviewing games I rarely say much about the venue outside the game itself. A polished intro or an enthusiastic welcome from the host can get the experience off to a good start, but for me at least is rarely a large factor in how I feel about a game afterwards. Houdini Escapes put so much effort into their hosting that it would be a crime not to mention it.
