Such a great room and genuinely enjoyed playing it so much. However there were multiple things broken when we played that really hindered the experience
Me and my teammate spent a lot of time on a puzzle (about 10 minutes) only to ask after the game and then realise it was broken, a couple other things went wrong in the room but that was the main let down.
Although we really enjoyed playing this room i do think that the reset errors and technical faults made us a little bit disappointed
The GM’s were lovely and we escaped with 20 seconds left however because of the issue in the room they took ten minutes off of our time which is about the time we spent looking at a broken puzzle.
Knockout has always been great and this room was too (perhaps my favourite of theirs tied alongside 9-5 assassin)! I just hope those errors don’t happen to other teams because it really takes away from the experience
This was a very good room with a unique take on the theme! We enjoyed all aspects of this room and really appreciated the attention to detail too! Would recommend!
So much fun! The set design is great even down to the smell of the room! Loads of puzzles of a variety of different types that kept our full team busy at all times. Pure fun and easily my favourite at this venue.
I’ve visited plenty of laundrettes in my life, but I think this might be the first time I’ve ever actually had fun trying to escape from one. Dirty Money is another excellent addition to the already fantastic games available to play at Knockout, and in Reading in general, especially for fans of a more traditional escape experience.
