No one knows what to expect, and even his loving assistant is completely in the dark. One thing is certain. This trick will ensure a comfortable future for them all or mean the ultimate demise of Ancum the Great and all his loved ones.

A very enjoyable game. The venue has a great set up with a story that gives a reason for the games to be there. 

Nice challenging puzzles but not too difficult, we did it with about a half a clue and plenty of time to spare.

Only con is that it’s Very expensive for two people, but the set design is great and you can see where the money has gone, just a little too steep for what you get in my opinion!

Bei dem Escape Room Ancum – Der Große handelt es sich wie oben geschrieben um einen dieser „Wohlfühl“-Escape Rooms. Die Geschichte ist weniger düster, das Ambiente toll in Szene gesetzt und die Rätsel fügen sich gekonnt in das gegebene Setting ein. Der Raum erzählt zu großen Teilen die Story mit Unterstützung vom Hörspiel von alleine und wirkt dabei nie zu überkonstruiert. An ein bis zwei Stellen könnte man hier vielleicht etwas nachbessern, um an die 100% ran zukommen, aber das wird für einen Großteil der Spielenden kaum ins Gewicht fallen. Das Finale des Raumes rundet die Geschichte ab und entlässt die Spielenden mit leuchteten Augen aus der Welt von Ancum – Der Große. Der Raum richtet sich vornehmlich an erfahrene Spielende und sollte nicht unterschätzt werden hinsichtlich der Aufgaben. Rätselfans kommen hier garantiert auf ihre Kosten.
