When I say this game is 'quite easy' it's meant as a compliment. Everything makes sense and is possible to figure out, but at the same time we needed a few hints that when we eventually got, we wondered how on earth we hadn't. It was very well done and had many things I haven't seen before.

Admittedly an experienced team, we smashed through the game in 29 minutes, including a few minutes at the end waiting for dodgy tech to trigger after we'd solved the final puzzle and a minute at the start listening to a woman sing in the darkness while our time started ticking away. It's definitely overpriced, given the standard of rooms available in the Netherlands, but has a good level of charm still, and some satisfying puzzles.

We were only stuck once, and asked for a clue because it wasn't clear if one puzzle had been solved successfully (it had) and the telegraphing of what it had done wasn't clear. The aformentioned final puzzle not working properly left us with a bit of an anticlimax (apparently the sensors are a bit dodgy), but there was enough here for us to enjoy the experience overall.

There are significantly better games in Amsterdam for this kind of money nowadays, and plenty in the surrounding area worth making a trip for over this.

Unique theme and lots of great puzzles - really enjoyed how the spaces interacted with each other.

Fantastic room. Great theme and novel puzzles. Also a distinct lack of padlocks which I think is a plus! . One particular puzzle is one of my favorite I have ever done.

I've played a few games themed as being in someone's mind or dreams, but this one is definitely the most successful at creating a dream-like experience. Instead of finding codes to padlocks, you progress with an increasing feel for the dream-logic of the puzzles.

There's a lot to do and it's perhaps a room where it's easy to get stuck; but the design is good and when you get a feel for the puzzles they're hugely satisfying.

Two games that are highly rated by enthusiasts but felt a little flat to me. Arcade Invasion had the potential for being brilliant but lacked direction and we encountered a real issue with the hinting. Wake up! didn't have quite as much potential but delivered better. Both games are well worth a visit when you're in Amsterdam though.
Do I regret playing this game? No. Do I regret making it our last game in Amsterdam? Yes. Wake Up! wasn’t a bad game, it just doesn’t stand a chance with the other games on offer. If you’re desperate for a game, or perhaps a warm up game, then it’s not a terrible choice. But for the money, there are better options available.
Questomatica offers two very unique and fun games close to the centre of Amsterdam. Did we enjoy them?
Have you ever tried to rouse a sleeping child who doesn't want to wake up? What about trying to wake them from INSIDE THEIR DREAM? Hope we don't get stuck...
