We thoroughly enjoyed The Glasshouse Ghost. It’s filled with the narrative charm and character we’ve come to expect from a Society of Curiosities game. It’s bursting with heart and I’m looking forward to tackling the next mystery!

This was a good game, however, we did get frustrated with the method of communication/entering codes.  You have to type what you want to do into a text box, but you have to say it exactly the right way at exactly the right time.  We spent a lot of time knowing exactly what we needed to do, but unable to word it in the way that the game wanted us too.  Or, on one occasion, BEFORE the game wanted us to.  So this took away a bit of the joy from the puzzles.  Lovely story, though.

Overall, we had a lot of fun with The Glasshouse Ghost. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a game like this, but it didn’t disappoint. As we wove our way through the different spaces and uncovered more secrets, a story slowly unfolded in front of us. Everything felt natural and realistic, the back and forth between you and your guide, and the sensitive history we engaged with.

[Glasshouse Ghost] is an excellent game for new players, who may be intimidated by the difficulty levels and lengths of other games in the hobby.

For experienced puzzle gamers, this game is best played alone, perhaps as a quick and fun way to spend a lunch break at your favorite haunt.
