This is a very different take on the concept.  Its part escape room and part horror experience.  The puzzles are good and probably 75% of the experience with the rest being the narrative and story.  Its really different and well worth doing. The set/theming is fantastic and very cleverly done.  Nothing too horrendously scary but a fair few jumps in there...  Only issue is we now have to wait for Hounds to do something else we have done all their rooms!

Hounds have really created something special with this experience. It's not a traditional escape room and will require you to move along at a slower pace in order to soak in the rich atmosphere and narrative. However the puzzles are as strong as you'd expect coming from Hounds and the theming/immersion is second to none. They have once again outdone themselves and have created something that is literally perfection. It's got a really nice, creepy atmosphere with some cracking dark humour. However, it's not too scary (though there are certainly plenty of jump scares throughout - just nothing too bad). Overall, it's a phenomenal experience that is well and truly one of the most spectacular rooms i've ever done. New #1 for sure!

The Acid Bath Murderer is hard to quantify. Part escape room, part history lesson, and part true crime drama, perhaps the best way to describe it would be to call it an Immersive, Narrative-Driven Puzzletale. Whatever you call it, it’s a perfect combination of puzzles and story, culminating in a new sort of experience that is unlike anything else we’ve encountered so far, and one not to be missed.

Hounds has crafted something truly unique, standing apart from the majority of escape rooms in the country. The enthralling story, enjoyable puzzles, and stunning sets make for an unforgettable and immersive experience.
