Oh no! Something terrible has happened: Santa Clausβ golden book has disappeared! It contained a complete list of all the Christmas wishes. If the book isnβt found by Christmas Eve there will be nothing but sad faces around the tree on Christmas morning.
It is up to you to save Christmas β and time is of the essence!
The thiefβs trail leads you to a remote mountain village. You quickly notice that something strange is afoot here β¦ but what? And where has the golden book gone? You must find it, but let me tell you: Behind the doors of this village there are many surprises waiting for you!
This advent calendar is an EXIT game and an adventure story in one.
To find the golden book, you must open a calendar door every day. Behind each, you will find a new exciting puzzle, the solution of which will help you move onto the next room. Only if you follow the clues and solve all 24 puzzles will you find the thief and the book β¦ and save Christmas!

Another great advent calendar.Me and husband do this together each evening on our count down to Christmas and we just love it.Can't wait to do one again next year!
The narrative thread running through the various puzzles is a bit thin, but in every other way this was a really nice experience. There is a good diversity of puzzles, and a lot of cleverness about how to make the best of the medium. As the first one of these I've done, I liked that you knew based on the symbols whether you had the right answer or not, and really appreciated the graded hint system. All in all a very pleasant way to spend some time anticipating the holiday.
We did enjoy this but there were some deeply illogical and difficult
to guess puzzles, which kind of spoilt the experience. We found we had
to refer to the clue book a few times, which was a bit annoying (and
something we haven't had to do with the actual EXIT games). That said,
it had some fantastic puzzles, some of which were fiendishly difficult
but great fun.
The advents are a great idea, most puzzles only take between 2 and 10 minutes to solve, they aren't overly complex to solve, the hardest thing is to stop!
Another great quality escape advent calendar from EXIT. I didn't find this story quite as immersive as the Ice Cave but it still kept me interested throughout December. I'd definitely recommend this and am excited to see what's in store for Advent 2023.
This was a lovely escape room style challenge that kept us occupied in December and there were some really inventive puzzles. We'll definitely be getting next year's calendar!
