Enjoyed how the story flowed throughout the game even if the ending felt a little abrupt. Great originality of physical tasks and some subtle but clever puzzles too. This and Alien are the best at this venue.
Great theming and use of space - it's a little claustrophobic, but you're supposed to be on a submarine, it fits. Reasonably satisfying puzzles, some of which have Crystal Maze-like physical components. But a word of advice - have at least three people in your team! Our team of two struggled badly with a couple of puzzles that are just too demanding, and we needed help from the GM. We had the solutions, but they weren't possible to execute between two people.
This was our first room at Cyber Q. Great experience, we went back later that day to do another!
The theming of the room was fantastic, the layout, the surroundings, lighting, sounds effects - fantastic.
Not a padlock based room (there's one of two keys but everything else is action dependant).
Our GM Julia was lovely, very friendly, very helpful.
We got through most of this room without any assistance from GM, with some very creative puzzles and tasks that we hadn't encountered before.
We needed assistance with one puzzle but I don't know if that was because of the difficulty or our eyesight!
We didn't manage to complete this room within the 60 minutes, but Julia said we were so close to the end she would give us the additional couple of minutes to finish. Shortly after saying this, Julia appeared in the room with us, not to end our game, but to help us with the final task as it turns out it is a 3 person job and physically impossible to do with 2 unless you are superhuman. It is advertised as recommending minimum of 3, but I took no notice - my bad!
Great room - can't wait to go back and try more of the rooms at Cyber Q
