This room was a bit easy for our team of fairly experienced players, but we had a very good time nonetheless.  Props to Host Bernadette and Prospector Harlen for infusing their enthusiasm in the experience.  A good range of puzzles with some elements I'm very sorry I didn't get to experience in person.  On the expensive side, particularly in light of how quickly we finished, but there were a lot of higher end finishes, like a very effective inventory system.

There may be gold in them thar hills, but in this Gold Rush you're not panning in any rivers, you're searching for a conveniently pre-prospected stash of gold hidden somewhere in a mountain shack - with the usual hour in which to find it before the mob comes along to claim it.

Gold Rush has an attractive set with a glossy, slightly theme park feel. If anything I suspect it looked better over the video feed, with painted backdrops looking more convincing as a result.

In parts it's also somewhat...

There’s gold in them there hills – and we’re certainly in a rush to get our hands on it!

We have to find the hidden gold before the mob do in this USA-based live online escape room.

The Escape Game is a known purveyor of "good, if not great" rooms, and this was another fine specimen, for sure: spacious, good-looking, with well-clued, fairly original puzzles. However, our experience wasn't good as the previous one...

A high-quality escape game available both online and off.
