Alan was always someone we could rely on, he’d be at work super early every shift, was always happy to stay late if we needed him to, and if you could look past his obsession with pirates then he seemed like a very normal guy. Unfortunately, he’s not turned up for work two days in a row and he isn’t returning our calls, and we suspect he’s responsible for a very important manual going missing. We think it’s our duty as responsible employers to do something …so we want to ask you for a favour

This is Unescapable's most difficult offering, but the one we've had the most fun with so far. There was a wide variety of puzzles and a lot of movement between different rooms. As a team of two we found we had quite a lot of ground to cover (even in this small space), but the payoff was worth it.
As a note, the space itself can be quite tight so, if you do struggle with that, this may not be the game for you.

I thought this game had a good set design and had a good use of space. The start was a little strange to the theme of the room but didnt spoil the game. There was some crawling that could be an issue for some so a little word of warning but a fun room with quite a large number of puzzles to keep you busy for the hour.
Of Unescapable’s games, Alan gives away the fewest clues to its theme - something about finding a missing employee? But there are enough subtle and not so subtle hints in the website details that I don’t think I’m giving anything away by saying this is a pirate themed room - though that might not be obvious when the game begins.

A pirate themed room, but not as you know it. Surprise awaits you when you enter this room, and then you’re taken on a wonderful journey as the story develops.
