In 1950, on our home soil, a destructive chemical called Venomous Agent X (VX) was created to wipe out millions of lives and was soon to be used in wars from 1950 to 1988. Up until 1993, when the Chemical Weapons Convention banned the chemical for heinous activities. Although the horrific chemical managed to slip through the cracks of society...
It’s now 2040 and you and your covert team have been prepped and issued a mission of the utmost importance. A life or death assignment; to infiltrate the underground Russian warfare base run by Vadik Novikoff whom has recently launched a test strike on China using a chemical weapon thought to be VX. However our intelligence has informed us of the rumoured reproduction of the chemical known know only as VX 2.0 and is now the deadliest, most destructive chemical warfare weapon of all time! If the VX 2.0 is released it could spark a world war and obliterate countries in mere hours.
Its time to shut down the operation. this is the last chance for International peace so its down to you and your squad to retrieve VX 2.0 from the underground facility, and return it to the UK for disposal. You have 60 minutes until Vadik Novikoff returns with his troops and subverts the mission. Be quick and think fast, the fate of the world is in your hands...

Some really interesting uses of technology and creative solutions for puzzles. Good mix of things to do that kept everyone busy throughout.

Really enjoyed this game as it flowed really well and we had no broken tech, which is unusual for a Trapp'd room!

A fairly easy room, probably best pitched for new players or families with children.

Wow!

We were invited to test play this game during the staff training and having never played a Trapp'd game before, I can see that they have gone all out in order to obtain the theming to the room. They have fully integrated Covid precautions, hand gel is available in the reception and they require you to wear masks throughout. Being led into the rooms we played with a broom stick was interesting but potentially dangerous when you can't see where your going - this needs to be a little safer going forward.

Once in the room it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, pretty linear throughout although there are several points when there is plenty to do for everyone although for enthusiasts I would limit the room to 2 - 3 maximum. I like the variety of physical and logic puzzles and some things I haven't seen before.

Trapp'd you have your niche in the market and you are doing it well, we will definitely visit some of your other rooms in the future. Our thanks to Simon our GM who was very nervous throughout being new to the business.

You’ve got to give Trapp’d credit for what they’ve done with this room. They’ve tried to do something different, and they have. If it wasn’t for a jumpy GM we’d have probably enjoyed this room more than we did

We channeled our inner James Bonds with the hope of saving the world in VX 2.0 but was it Mission: Impossible for the Escape Goats?

VX 2.0 is a good example of using technology appropriate for the theme. It has gadgets galore – some we had seen before, some not, but all great fun for a hi-tech heist.
What a thoroughly wonderful experience is was at Trapp’d! It’s always great to find hidden gems that don’t get the limelight that some other companies do but Trapp’d has really made us want to return and try all of there other games. We cannot recommend them enough. To date, this has been one of our favourite games. If you are looking for an enjoyable but challenging experience, Trapp’d is the place for you! Escaped: 59:29
