Trapp’d Kettering

A decent enough room but nothing spectacular or stand out. We enjoyed the puzzles but there are better rooms out there.

I loved this room. One of the better creepy/horror style rooms we have completed. Plenty to keep busy with, different puzzle types and jump scares but this I imagine will depend on your host. Can be completed with 2 people. Not for kids but OK for teens who like being scared. 

A Fun room with varying puzzle types. Story and play through flowed well. All aspects could be completed with 2 players or with kids without problems. 

This review may sound negative as there were some things that let the room down but overall it wasn't a bad room and we did enjoy it, it just didn't feel like anything special & wasn't as strong as others we've played.

Firstly, the theming was strong and atmospheric. However, the hosting was poor, there were a couple of broken props, we felt a lack of direction, some elements were a bit random and the ending came too suddenly.

Strongest game at this venue for me - everything made perfect sense as to what we needed to do and why. Some of the puzzles felt a little repetitive at times but otherwise v fun.

Even with the live actor this is more of a creepy game than out and out horror - yes there are a few jump scares but there's still sufficient focus on you solving the puzzles. Really atmospheric space which helped the theme well but puzzles fell a bit flat at times.

Some really interesting uses of technology and creative solutions for puzzles. Good mix of things to do that kept everyone busy throughout.
