Travel back through time to the abandoned Quartz laboratory. Located in a bomb shelter in Broadstairs, this laboratory has been kept secret for decades. Only recently discovered by The Network; the highest order of military intelligence.
There's no official government documentation of the Quartz Machine but rumours describing an artificially intelligent machine, engineered by a German nuclear physicist hellbent on causing world chaos have been leaked.
We now need a brave team to go head to head with Quartz in order to destroy its physical construct and annihilate it from the world, for good.
Can you take on an artificially intelligent bot and win?

Loved the ending to this game so much, pure chaos but was so much fun! Great puzzles all linked perfectly to the theme and there was some great subtle things to notice within them. Fun mix of more video game style, observation and logic too. Really recommend going before they close for good
Another great room, some very unique puzzles, good technology, some good plot twists and nice surprises.
I have to start by shouting out James, our host, whose sense of humour and refusal to break character not only set a great tone for our game... but also saw us through an unfortunate power cut that occurred during our third or fourth puzzle! These things happen and it's nobody's fault, and he and another member of staff got us back up and running with little delay, but he deserves all the praise going for the chirpy irony with which he handled it. He also gave us a detailed debrief after the game, which might not be for everyone, but was up our street. Big up James.
The game itself is terrific fun. Experienced players will have seen most of the puzzles before in some form or other but there's a nice variety of them and they aren't trivial, you do need to pay attention. But gradually the intensity of the game increases and, while it isn't as physically demanding as Atlantis, it begins to ask more of you than just puzzle-solving skills. An immense amount of work has gone into making this room and while I won't go into detail, the finale is incredibly good fun and unlike any game you're likely to have played before. Enormously recommended.
There is nothing we can say here to give this game justice. Go and play it, make the trip - you'll not be disappointed!
This game is a lot of fun and, along with the insanely good build, really ranks up there in terms of WW2 rooms that we've done.

Anyone who loves the war staples of code-breaking and military secrets will love this room. It has a real Cold War movie vibe and it is, to a large extent, very based on intellectual challenges with a classic puzzling feel.
