A world of witchcraft and wizardry awaits your team of explorers as you enter the room of the dark arts. Tasked with finding the formula for a troublesome and dangerous spell your team must unravel the path of puzzles and codes the Master of the Dark Arts has left before you. He will return in 60 short minutes and is known for his unforgiving nature. Find the spell and make good your escape before the sand timer empties and you risk the return of the wizard.

Good room with some great set pieces but it had some weird elements and puzzles that are hard to understand still.

A nice enjoyable game. Nice theming but one of those rooms that's intentionally dim, we were invited to use a the torch on our phones as much as much as we wanted. Would visit the company again, a nice one to do whilst in York but probably not worth a trip.

This was a fun little game in the centre of York.The host was lovely. She gave clues at the right time, not pushy.The set had a few too many scrapes and worn looking areas. You could see wires in corners etc, which kind of ruined the immersion. Most of the puzzles were good fun. some where just out of place for the setting but some where just illogical on how you got from A - B.Fun to play if you are about, but not one to travel specifically for. We will probably play the others there too at some point.

Good fun, but quite easy - got to say I'm not a fan of venues where the GM runs more than one game.

Loads of puzzles and lots of 'reveal' moments, which we enjoyed. Some really cool 'magic' bits and a good combination of different kinds of puzzles. Good fun but its a tad on the tight side when it comes to space so something to bear in mind for larger groups.
