An amazing game thats super immersive and has some great puzzles.The game flowed really well, with a few good a laughs and some really cool monents,As soon as you start playing the game you are immersed in the world and the puzzles are perfectly fitted for the sceanrio.The hosting was amazing from Danny, who was funny and engaging, which made the experience all the better.Deffo one to play.

What an amazig game and venue!The hosting was amazing. The host spent loads of time talking to us and it was obvious they love what they do.We loved the game. Their are some really amaing puzzles and plenty to do. The game is incredibly immersive and some genuine wow! moments.Theres 3 other games here as well so you can make a day of it. Beverly is a lovely town too, so great day out!

The set was really good in one part of the game and average in the other.The problem with this game was the broken tech. There are clues preprogrammed to ask you to re-seat set pieces as they were not triggering when put in to place. If you have a have a clue to ask people to pick stuff up and put down, its broken enough to get it fixed.Asked for clues but waiting to get them.There was a few red herrings that seemed on purposed and in places the game wasnt very logical or flowed well. Also you did certain things, heard a twinkle, but it wasnt clear what the result was.All that said, i thought the game was ok. Set design in one area was reallt nice. The hosts were ok. No love for the games, just a job kind of feel, which i guess is fine, but we are so used to poeple really loving what they do.I thought it was exspensive for what it was. More exspensive than others we have played for a lot less.If you are in the area and stuck for somehting to do, then sure, its worth a play.

This was a fun little game in the centre of York.The host was lovely. She gave clues at the right time, not pushy.The set had a few too many scrapes and worn looking areas. You could see wires in corners etc, which kind of ruined the immersion. Most of the puzzles were good fun. some where just out of place for the setting but some where just illogical on how you got from A - B.Fun to play if you are about, but not one to travel specifically for. We will probably play the others there too at some point.

What a beautiful game! 

This is a amazing story driven game that has some of the best set pieces we have ever seen! 

There are multiple WOW moments and bits that make you just want to stop to take it in.

You can really see the effort thats been put into the decor of the game and it makes it really immersive. You really have to play this game.

The game is story driven and everything flows really well.

This is a tradional style escape room that relied on locks and low tech puzzles.

Because of the story/setting, this works really well. I think this is one of Enigmas earlier games, but it has stood the test of time.

Really great game, with good puzzles and good puzzle flow.

We found this game to be illiogical but to be fair it may have been down to the broken puzzles, so the game didnt flow very well at all.

A puzzle was also left solved, which caused a lot of confusion.

This was a beautiful game, with some really nice elements to it.

The puzzles where clever, imersive and felt part of the scenes.

This would have been a 5 star game if it hadnt have been from a couple of broken puzzles and poor hosting.

We have played a few enigma rooms now, and like nearly all of their games, this one does not disappoint.

The room is vibrant and well decorated. The puzzles are a good mix of original and established. 

The hosting was excellent, with the team spending the time to talk to us about this and other escape rooms.

Up to now this is the worst escape room we have played.

The hosting was appalling, they clearly didn’t care. Broken puzzles, which the host told us was broke for a while.

We had planned to play some other games, but based on this, decided against it.

Worth travelling to specifically play this game: No.

A lot of effort has been put into the decor of this game. It’s looking a bit worn in places, but you can still see the effort that’s been put in. 

The puzzles are ok. Some are original. The issue really with the room is it didn’t really flow overall well. Some puzzles are a bit of a jump in logic or there is no obvious reason to know at least where you should be looking. You just have to stumble across the correct puzzle. 

As the game progresses, the sign posting gets a bit better, so the flow gets better, but still some jumps in logic are required.

The hosting was ok.

Worth playing if you are in York ,looking for something to do. 

Is it worth travelling specifically for this : No.
