This game gave things they must have pearnt from Leo's Path (which I loved) and continued their great use of tech and story. For me, watching a video for 2-3 mins when there are still more puzzles to solve was irritating, but I appreciated it in terms of what was happening with the story.
Enjoyed the framing for the game and the good variety of puzzles within. The game is very story driven so you must focus on the details you learn throughout and at the end. For me there was a little too much reading all in one go but an enjoyable experience nonetheless.
Have read really good reviews for this room in multiple places so felt quite let down. The puzzles were quite easy and the the production value was low. Few components were broken/didnt work well too.
Not sure I get the hype. I like that it's more story driven but I think quite a lot of sign posting to wtf is going on is missing until the end. Also some bits take literal seconds and some take ages, which doesn't necessarily feel balanced.
I played a few years ago. I really enjoyed the twist and the choice element of the game. The host was really nice and the puzzles were good.
Enjoyed the twist on the escape room (about making the right choices as well as completing the game on time). Immersion and theme was good, and it definitely felt a bit nervy at times!
Worthy of its reputation, a great game with beautiful set dressing, a compelling story and some fun puzzles to work through. Some small spaces so 2 players felt good for this game. I always enjoy games where there are elements of choice and this certainly takes advantage of that.

The first game from Archimedes Inspiration was Leo's Path, which stands out for its calm beauty. So I was surprised to see that their second game was set in an asylum. A crumbling, creepy abandoned mental hospital sounds right in line with many a horror-themed escape room and completely at odds with what I expected from AIEscape. So I went in braced for perhaps a dark, dirty room with scare effects and maybe broken furniture or fake cobwebs. That is not at all what Kill M.A.D. turned out to be. ...
