It is said that Dr Nubis when exploring the tomb, found the treasure and was driven mad with lust, and rather than managing to escape the tomb the gods sealed him inside because of his greed.
He's set an array of puzzles & traps to make sure no one else can get their hands on his loot. Do you have what it takes to go one step further, claim the treasure, and make your escape?

This room was unnecessarily dark and the lights provided were frustraingly dull.
That aside, the puzzles were good, some fun elements but we found it a little frustrating with the light situation however a solid game.
Not a great experience, unfortunately, with one physical puzzle that was so fiddly to complete that the GM essentially let us give up on it after ten minutes of having known what the solution was with no success in executing it. Some of the other puzzles are also on the tedious side, but it's not a room devoid of enjoyment, as the production values are decent and there's a variety of things to play with, lots more than just locks and keys. Might make a reasonable room for beginners and people with young children. If they make the fiddly puzzle a bit less fiddly.
Not as visually pleasing as other rooms available here but I believe this was the first and itβs nice to see a progression of build from this one. Donβt get me wrong the room is still a great room. A couple of frustrating puzzles that ate up a lot of time, but a really interesting ending that creeped you in the room little by little until reaching the exit. Great game. Friendly hosts. Attentive GM
Not as good as the other rooms here but still fun and original.
The room looked great and flowed really well. All of the puzzles fit with the theme and I enjoyed some of the unique elements in it. One physically puzzle stopped us for ages and it was a shame to learn after that there is no built in fail-safe if teams cannot solve it. Also if torches are going to be provided, please give one for each member of the team! Otherwise really enjoyed exploring and escaping the tomb!

Donβt make a room unnecessarily dark; or if you do, make sure every player has a satisfactorily strong source of light. Thatβs a subjective opinion, and not everyone agrees with it, but itβs one Iβll argue for until Iβm blue in the face. If itβs an opinion you share, then be warned you may find Sands of Time frustrating: itβs played in pitch darkness, with two lanterns shared between however many players are present.
To be fair, the total darkness successfully achieves its aim of building atmos...
