At what was thought to be an abandoned facility in the heart of Salisbury, there's been movement.
People have been caught on camera coming and going carrying scientific equipment and classified files.
This facility, Station Athena, was once one of the UK's leading research stations belonging to the RESPECT Foundation. Said to be focussing on genetics and human development they went from being at the forefront of many scientific breakthroughs in their field to completely silent.
No one has heard from or seen any of the RESPECT scientists from the station. Their families have also disappeared.
Has there been a cover up? Was the RESPECT Foundation hurriedly closed down? Where are those involved and what is happening at the once deserted Station Athena?

good puzzles
Can tell this is an old game but a lot of the ideas in here were quite advanced for when this was built. Enjoyed a lot of the puzzles, but others felt a bit odd and required a fair bit of searching. Theming was simultaneously good yet plain. The story and ideas behind the game were good and the finale puzzle was cool, but other bits felt quite tired. The GM/owner Claire was lovely however and provided the perfect amount of help. We had fun in here, and would love to see the ideas in it modernised or refreshed
Thoroughly enjoyed the start to this game, and some excellent moments of tension at a couple of points. Plenty of puzzles to work on , particularly enjoyed the one at the end. Lovely GM/owner who we had a nice chat with afterwards.
A mixture of great immersion and a variety of puzzles made this an enjoyable and intense experience! Some cool tech and props and the atmosphere and tension really rose throughout. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
Hidden away through a doorway and up a small staircase, Live Escape don't have the most prominent entrance - and if you're planning a visit, note that they're currently only open Friday through Sunday.
The game welcomes you as experimental subjects for a benevolent organisation called RESPECT... and proceeds from there. This is a nicely phased game with different styles of play at different points, with some good hands-on physical tasks and then impressive tech elsewhere.

A great game that pulls together an intriguing story, a broad range of logical puzzles and beautiful props.
People often visit Salisbury due to the proximity of some โlarge standing rocksโ, but ditch the rocks and make Live Escape your destination, you wonโt regret it
Live Escape Salisbury has perhaps the most comprehensive briefing email Iโve ever seen, for reasons that soon become apparent. Itโs pretty amusing, with lines like โdonโt turn up drunk โ youโll just get frustrated that you canโt get past the first puzzle, and we will mess with the heating, the clock and your mind,โ though one in particular stood out during our play in March 2018: โthere is no need to climb on/through anything.
