Dodge City in 2127 remains a stronghold of the wild west. The constant tussle between the Sheriff and local gunslingers means there’s opportunity abound for some creative bank robbery for those with wits and courage.
As a member of the Notorious ‘Barn Door’ Gang you’ve been caught by the local sheriff breaking into the bank. Locked away with little hope, hired by an unnamed outlaw and facing the ruthless justice of the old west you’re left with only one option.
As the sun sets the race is on to break out, reclaim your supplies, pull off the bank job of the century and get out of Dodge City.

Having done the rest of Tulleys rooms we knew thise was going to be well themed, which it was, but it turned out to be my favourite Tulleys room. Really good use of tech and traditional puzzles. Really immersive.
Our final room on our first trip to Tulleys, and this one also didn't let the side down. Absolutely loved it. There's a lot to it, and having a bigger group definitely helped in some cases, but we did get in each other's way. The start was pretty standard, but there were some fun diversions as it went on. Yet again, we were foiled by a simple search for one item, but we'd have been disappointed had we got it straightaway. 😉
If we wanted to make one criticism, we could query why this takes place in the future - you wouldn't be out of line to think that it could have taken place in the 21st Century.
Cool set (uses height well) with unique theme. Fun split start, but goes a little downhill after that. Had some tech issues with a couple of props (bang bang), and game master had to come in to fix an item during the experience. Similar to their other games there was no real story development beyond the original video blurb and the ending lacked any real excitement.
Very hard room - there’s an awful lot to do. There’s a couple of puzzles that whilst they made sense seem to be quite a tenuous link - when you complete it you can see how the link could be made but it doesn't feel particularly natural. There’s also some really really cool puzzles and mechanics that we’ve not seen elsewhere and were really clever. You need a fair few people for this and to split up and tackle things simultaneously. Could do with having a 90 minute version for smaller teams - I think we likely would have needed another 15mins to complete - although I felt we had a very slow start and wasted perhaps 10mins at the beginning. Our first ever failure! There's a very strong theme and some fun elements and puzzles in there but just far too much to do in an hour and for a small team. I think you'd have to go at such a pace to complete this that you wouldn't get to enjoy the room. It's a shame as with all the Tulleys rooms they are so epic and fantastic in terms of sets and puzzles but just so large that to get through you have to go at such a pace that you don't get to enjoy and admire it as much as you otherwise could and should!
Dodge City is one of a small number of games that I deliberately played way after most enthusiasts had rushed to it, because expectations were high enough that it seemed worth saving for a suitable moment. I also wanted a larger team than usual. Where I choose to play most games with a team of two or three, Dodge was reputably only a little less tough than the infamous Nethercott Manor. We did in fact escape it in time, but with only a few minutes spare, and I was glad we’d brought the extra han...
A great experience that I’d highly recommend. As always with Tulleys’ games, there’s a beautiful, expansive set with plenty of logical puzzles to keep a larger team occupied. Aside from the slightly crowded moments early on and the not-very-relevant futuristic setting of the story, there’s really not much to find flaw with here.
Another beautiful Tulleys room but ultimately let down by reset issues. Give the room a try, but probably wait a while for them to get it running smoothly - we should have waited.
Dodge City was our first room…and one of their hardest! Immediately on entering it’s obvious how Tulley’s have earned their reputation – the set design is amazing and extremely immersive, and there are surprises throughout the game. Even as a hardened spotter of fake doors and moving bookshelves, I soon gave up trying to anticipate what was coming next.
Dodge City was quite the treat for us and a definite highlight in the greater London area. Nethercott Manor was a close second, perhaps due to the theme as we typically prefer light hearted games. We are happy to award Dodge City our highest rating of 5 gold stars! It's rare to see an escape room with so many things to accomplish in such an immense and wonderful environment!
We started the room in two groups. I really enjoy starting rooms this way, it’s real motivation to work things out as quickly as possible to get the group back together. The theming was definitely Wild West with a futuristic twist and a lot of thought had gone into the set up of this room.
There was so much to do in this escape and a massive variety of puzzles which made the experience very exciting! The space was massive and really well used with amazing scenery and theming. There was a great element of challenge to the puzzles in here, we really had to do some thinking to solve them. Overall, we just had so much fun in this room!
