60 minutes

closed
60 minutes locked in the room where Milly mysteriously died after living the life of a recluse for many years. Something is stopping Milly’s soul resting in peace – search the room, find the clues and unravel the mystery that will ultimately set you free – all the while wondering whether Milly is still in the room with you.
“During the night, there’s a shift in the air,
a bone-trembling chill that tells you she’s there.
There are those who believe the whole house is cursed,
but the room at the end was by far the worst.
Search for the clues – but don’t be silly,
There’s a truth to the curse of Old Maid Milly.”

intenseunoriginal😨creepy

Was a little creepy but some of the puzzles were not all that original and the room is a little dated in comparison to a lot of the better rooms out there. Still fun to do, but not one I'd wish I could do all over again.

Escape From The Room is based in the suburban wilderness of Sutton, which although certainly inside the M25 is quite a trek from central London by public transport (though a lot more convenient for any South Londoners with a car). Not only is it off the beaten track, it is built and run out of a residential house.

There's something a little surreal about knocking on a house door and being welcomed and briefed in a living room, before being led upstairs to the bedroom that houses the game. Howev...

A well thought out room with a good balance of searching and puzzles. A good challenge for beginners and experienced players alike, they offer a small sidequest at the end to allow for faster teams to get more out of the room.
For an enthusiast built room it is really rather good. OK, it isn’t as polished around the edges as some big money rooms but it works and is definitely still fun and worth doing.
