Regarded by many as the "gold-standard" for escape-room-in-a-box type puzzle experiences, Tale of Ord provides lots of content divided into 4 chapters, some great diversity in the puzzles, and an engaging story to boot. The puzzles are not easy, but fortunately there's a very well-laid out online progressive hint system that will guide you from knowing whether you've even discovered all the components required to solve a puzzle (which is not always obvious!), right the way through to giving a worked explanation of the answer. So, even if your puzzle-fu fails you, you can still enjoy being guided through the immersive experience. Top stuff.

Reviews by escape room review sites

PostCuriousโ€™ The Tale of Ord wove an epic tale through interconnected narrative and puzzle components, delivered in a series of four parcels. As The Tale of Ord progressed, the density and challenge grew dramatically. We loved the grand vision in this smart, innovative, and tightly-written saga.
With Threads of Fate, PostCurious has made something really special, thatโ€”amazinglyโ€”holds up to the massive amount of hype that The Tale of Ord had accumulated over the years.
