This is Quest Hunt’s entry level game that is designed for beginners but which is also fun for more experienced groups.
On entering this room, we were immediately struck by the appropriate theme. There is a particularly nice feature in the centre which we really appreciated – handcrafted by the owner, it really made the room. There were also some fun thematic props to enjoy.
The puzzles themselves were fairly standard, but followed a perfectly reasonable logic. Whilst it suffers a little from too many identical padlocks, there is also some nice alternative style locks to mix it up.
Overall this is a fun room for beginners.
White Rabbit is a charming room which, though padlock-based and consisting mostly of fairly standard puzzles, is nicely executed with pleasing decor, particularly the centrepiece which really brings the game together.
I’m not convinced this game needed a maths puzzle; while it’s used far less here than in Quest Hunt’s Space room, it’s less suitable for the theme. The room also breaks the ‘single use’ convention, but it clearly signposts that in advance, which seems perfectly reasonable to me.
Experienced teams will find this room easy, but will enjoy it anyway. Beginners will love it.
