I haven’t seen many Halloween rooms popping up so far for this year, though pirates seems to be in vogue right now. Maybe it’s just the calm before the storm of Xmas popups that’ll begin in earnest next month.

π The ambitious new branch of Enigma Quests opens this week in Holborn with Escape Room Arcade, a challenge arcade style experience. That should be followed by three escape rooms towards the end of the month.
π The Wallington branch of Escape From The Room opened new room The Lost Caves of Moon Bay.

π New at CTRL ALT ESC is Escaping Neverland, a Peter Pan theme that intriguingly appears to have a T-Rex silhouette in the artwork. Like all their games, this has an extended 90 min play time.
π The Faversham branch of Escape Kent also has a new room called The Bomb, a name which pretty much speaks for itself.
π The Panic Room’s shiny new location in Dartford has already announced their second room: A Great Escape will be open from the 21st.
π Didcot Escape Rooms have updated their game from Carnival Quest to Detention.
π The Dark Arts Bar a.k.a. Elusion Rooms in Southampton have just launched their second puzzle box game; this one is called Monster Hunter.
π The Butlin’s in Bognor Regis will offer four escape rooms from next week, amongst their other activities. The rooms are 221B Baker Street, Area 51, Witchcraft & Wizardry, and Escape the Seven Seas – and yes, appear to be from the Escape chain.

π Beyond Breakout may have closed their doors for on-site games, but from this weekend they’ll offer new mobile game Smuggler’s Cove, which is based on a delightful combination of cats and pirates.
π Caerphilly Escape Rooms (sister site of Escape Blackwood) opened their second room The Witch in the Woods, a Hansel & Gretel style story.
π In Cardiff, Puzzled Escape Rooms now offer AI Apocalypse, a tabletop suitcase-style game which you can play seated; “drinks and snacks will also be available”.
π And in Swansea, Brewster’s Millions is the new room at Valley Escape, replacing Time Traveller.
