An AMAZING game with wacky live actors that help you through the room. Dynamic puzzles that really get you thinking. Great for a larger groups as many puzzles can be done at once with different levels experience. Every time the live actors were in the room it was a good laugh and all of the different sequences were fun whilst keeping us immersed. Definitely a room like no other that I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience!

That being said, my friend said this was her favourite room she’d ever played! It was bonkers from start to finish and a lot of fun. The set is incredibly immersive and the live actors really add to this.
If you’re going to play, do make sure you have at least one able-bodied member of your team capable of climbing!
I have done things in this escape room that I have never done in any other rooms! Includes very lively live actors and some fun challenges. My main complaint would be that we felt the people running it saw it more as an experience than a typical escape room so at points we weren’t allowed enough time to solve puzzles and instead were rushed through which didn’t feel good. It was meant to be 75 minutes but we got out in well under an hour so I don’t know why we weren’t given the chance to do things properly - maybe the live actors were perhaps keen to get us through so they could be done.
Bonkers from start to finish. An amazing game from the different intro to the hilarious moments en route. Even though the theatrics take precedence the puzzles were still plentiful and enjoyable too!

I feel like the less I say about The Shrewsbury Express, the better. Just know that it was exceptionally fun, fair, and well worth a visit to Level Up for. It was also, for lack of a better word, totally bonkers - in all the best ways. I’ve played a great many escape rooms now, but only a tiny percentage have left me wondering, “ What on earth just happened?” upon their conclusion.
