I really enjoyed my first trip to Hysteria (with Citizen Erased being a firm favourite) but I'd been looking forward to play they Dinosaur Park inspired game for a while. The game does lean relatively heavily into imagery and themes from Jurassic Park.
This is a collection game where you need to collect all the vials containing dinosaur embryos. All of the puzzles are themed appropriately, the area (whilst small) is well used. There's some wonderful nods to the film that I appreciated (even if they went over my compatriots heads!)
This is an incredibly fun room to play, we seemed slow to start as the opening path didn't feel clear but once we were on our way it was great fun. Our host was Charlotte who was great from the frenetic beginning to the end. Kids would love some of the puzzles and I would say the ideal group is 2-4.
Another great room by Hysteria. Really nostalgic and well themed puzzles. Defiantely worth a visit.
Hysteria have knocked it out the park once again with Survival. Excellent set, plenty of great puzzles and excellently hosted with some added personal touches. Highly recommended
I loved this game, mixed age group and all of us had a blast! The puzzles are really satisfying to solve and lots to do, nice that there is no βescapeβ hosting was spot on. My new favourite game
Brilliant attention to detail in this game, so many enjoyable puzzles to tackle, we didn't stop from start to finish. The theming, atmosphere and signposting were all spot on.
This game is a little different to anything else we have played. The objective is to collect up to 15 dinosaur embryos within the 60 minute time limit. We collected 12/15 and this is apparently above average. A proper enthusiasts game I would suggest.
Our host Charlotte was also fantastic! 100% recommend!
This is an excellent room with a fantastic array of puzzles and a unique theme. It isn't a "how fast can I get out" room; it is more about how many items you can collect. We got 13/15 and were a little frustrated as we weren't far off getting them all, probably needed an extra five minutes. I can imagine kids loving this one and it's a good first room as you can't really lose.
