In Dorfen, there is the Priesterhaus. The Catholic Church sent disgraced priests there for re-education. One of them, Bartholomäus Gruber, around 1830, refused to comply – instead, he founded an underground church. His goal was to first create Neu-Dorfen according to his principles, and then to transform all of Bavaria from there. As a central object of power for his church, he stole the ring of the first Archbishop of Munich and Freising, Lothar Anselm von Gebsattel. For many years, a local historian, Professor Wimmer, has been trying to find the secret chapel and the ring – so far without success. Can you help him?
