En 1703, le capitaine Vié fondit sur un brick anglais, le Lady Viviane, de retour des comptoirs des Indes.
Le Lady Viviane portait à son bord un diamant très pur, destiné à orner la couronne de la reine Anne pour en constituer le joyau.
Le Lusançay fit la course avec le brick jusque vers les côtes anglais, avant de fondre sur lui par une mer houleuse et un vent mauvais.
Le Lady Viviane fut pillé et coulé et le capitaine Via s’enfuit entre les lames d’une mer déchainée. Mais Neptune réclama comme dû le joyau.
Le capitaine Vié céda à la demande du roi des mers.
Les Agents vont être envoyés à bord du Lusançay quelques jours après l’attaque de la Lady Viviane. Ils devront explorer le Lusançay, trouver des indices menant au joyau et revenir avec au point de rendez-vous.
Nous ne saurions trop vous conseiller de vous méfier du capitaine Vié.
Sa terrible réputation sur les mers n’est pas usurpée et si l’on en croit les racontars des marins, les mutins payèrent chèrement le fait d’avoir élevé la voix en sa présence.
