A fun room but a lot to get through for a team of two. We felt that a lot of information was thrown at you all at once! Build quality and effects are excellent and hosting, as expected at Cave Escape, was great! There are quite a few videos throughout the game which stunt play and frustrated us. This game can be lost even if you have plenty of time left and if I'm honest I still don't know how we made the right decision to save the world.
I've been a fan of Cave Escape for a while and thought their first two games were some of the best I've played. This carries on that tradition with both a clever story and some ingenious hi-tech puzzles. There are also several victory conditions which is a nice touch. If I'm honest, I think Monuments is better but this game is very much worth your time.
Had amazing fun with this room and didn't experience any of the issues identified by other players. The tech all functioned well and contained some really fun elements that gave us a good giggle. Definitely one for those who like non-linear elements in their rooms.
As ever, the hosting at Cave Escape is superb and they make great use of their unusual cave setting.
I could see some people would really enjoy this room. It was very well presented and the puzzles were mostly good but it just did not quite click with us but this could have been an off day or just a personal thing. I felt that I should have enjoyed it more than I did when I look back it was well designed and original. In places we seem to just be lost at what to do and again maybe it was us on the day but maybe a little more signposting might be needed. Overall we enjoyed it but left a little wanting when it could have been such a great game.

This is my very first escape room at Cave Escape, and honestly I enjoyed it a lot. Iβve heard from other enthusiasts that itβs probably the weakest at Cave Escapeβ¦ For that reason, Iβll definitely be back to play some more rooms by them in the new year. But since right now I know no better, I can safely say I had a lot of fun. One of the standouts of our whole experience at Cave Escape were the Games Masters. We interacted with several people working at Cave Escape, and every single person was helpful, upbeat and funny. Itβs clear the team are very close knit and love what they do, and that was a really nice touch.
Project Iceman is like nothing we have taken on before. The combination of being in an underground cave system, whilst actually not aiming to escape a room made it brilliantly different. All 4 of us in the team absolutely loved this room and is comfortably in our top 10 rooms. Iceman is very different from the other 2 rooms at Cave Escape and was probably our favourite room out of the 3 and being the middle of one of 3 in terms of difficulty. A stunning journey through the ice age!
