It is the summer of 1968, the time of free love, flower power and traffic jams in St Neots. The swinging 60s desire ‘to get back to the garden’ has resulted in demonstrations against traffic congestion in town, as people become aware of the fumes being generated by a congested High St. But whilst many are campaigning in support of a new by-pass, opinions are split and many resent the proposal to concrete over green fields to create more roads.

At the same time, the current craze of board games is sweeping the country and your two warders are rather pre-occupied with a game they are playing. Are you prepared to take up their challenge in order to escape?

immersivegreat hosting

Well, how much more authentic can you get than busting out of an actual prison cell? Certainly no more than here at St Neots Museum. Banged up for your protests for a new bypass, your team must first escape your cell and then the prison block itself, then use the information around you to solve a mystery that the guards quite frankly can't handle, preferring instead to play board games! The hosting by Kate and Amy was wonderful, the puzzles challenging and the use of the original cells and information in the museum cleverly woven in. A lovely chance to explore this location and have some fun after hours!
