Outcome: Successful escape!
Some good parts, but left an overriding feeling that it could and should be better. Nice gastropub across the road!
This concept had so much scope to be better. Some parts of the game were unique and could have been someones dream, other parts just felt like they were rooms taken out of generic escape rooms and plonked in which was disappointing.
We did enjoy certain aspects of game, and there were fun moments, but the rest let it down.
The intro was weird. We were told to watch a video, the GM would come back into the room & repeat what the video says, another video played with the story, and the Gm came back in and did the same again. Ruined the immersion and was totally unnecessary.
