Hope End is the ancestral home of the Hope family, last inhabited by Mrs. Dolores Wright (nΓ©e Hope) and her well-to-do family: her husband, Ulysses, her son, Percival, her mother Persephone, and her sister-in-law, Lilith. 110 years ago, tragedy struck and, except for Dolores herself, every member of the family perished under mysterious circumstances. The mansion has remained uninhabited ever since, driving away potential buyers with its reputation for otherworldly occurrences. The Ministry of Peculiarities has been tasked with investigating the disturbances within Hope Endβwill you join us?

This was an absolute hoot of a game thanks to our wonderfully crazy host. It is a game with laughs, improv, moral choices and judgement calls, lots of puzzles and beautiful decor. I just wanted to stay and play it again. Brilliant entertainment with top drawer puzzling.

From start (and I mean pre-game) to finish, this was a magical, immersive, actor-led amazing experience.
Play. This. Game.

What this venue does is brilliant. Truly breathtaking. The set and actors are seamless. Taking you on a magical journey from your arrival, right up until you leave.Be prepared to live the moment from the minute the door opens, to the briefing, to the intro, right through to the end. In fact at the end, I still wasnβt sure it was over.At the start of this game, you are almost being assessed, I would say we were all earmarked to play a certain part, the clever bit here was that none of us really knew that. I smiled and laughed and felt really invested, the entire game. There are points in this game that you are separated and then brought back together, itβs done so beautifully every time.Set design is perfect and beautiful, the puzzles covered a massive range and every puzzle was different, varied and executed brilliantly. Puzzle mechanics were intuitive and with plenty for everyone to do. The whole game told a story and we carefully unraveled it together.
