Wir schreiben das Jahr 1989. Der Kalte Krieg neigt sich so langsam dem Ende entgegen. Blicken wir nach Lüdenscheid. Dort Arbeitet für die Lüdenscheider Nachrichten der Journalist Peter Ludwigsen. Keine große Nummer in seinem Beruf. Normalerweise schreibt er Randnotizen und Käseblattstories. Aktuell betreibt er Recherche zur Abrüstung von Waffen des kalten Krieges. Doch bei seiner Arbeit stößt er plötzlich auf einige Ungereimtheiten.
Diese ungewöhnlichen Transaktionen führen Ihn zu einer alten Sprengstofffabrik zwischen Lüdenscheid und Hagen. Er taucht immer mehr in die Geschichte dieser Fabrik ein und findet interessante Verknüpfungen. Wer hat Dreck am stecken? Doch es gibt Leute, die nicht wollen, dass die Wahrheit ans Licht kommt. Peter Ludwigsen wird tot in seinem Büro gefunden. Nun seid ihr am Zug. Könnt ihr die Arbeit von Peter zu Ende bringen und herausfinden woran er gearbeitet hat? Doch vorsicht, der Mörder ist zurück…
