Enigma Rooms Skegness: The Collector

Weve been to many escape rooms and this has been our favourite so far! The concept and the execution were not like anything we've been to before.

The team running the games were friendly and funny, helpful with the hints too! Cannot recommend more! 

This room is phenomenal! The story is gripping and the hosts/acting is immersive and realistic, which combined created a great experience. The story is thoroughly gripping and all the little touches makes the experience even better! Rob and Ricky are legends.

Would definitely recommend to anyone. 

Had the best experience! A few jump scares which were brilliant! Highly recommend!

On a recent holiday to Skegness we came across this little gem. The Collector, hosted by the very enthusiastic Rob and his colleague made this room a fantastic way to end the holiday. With different levels of difficulty and scarefactor to choose from, which we thought was very considerate and meant that this room would be suitable for almost anyone, we opted for the middle option ! Very immersive with the middle option having live interaction from a creepy character. It was a good level of difficulty with suitable provision of clues to help us through when Rob could see we were very close to solving something and needed a nudge. I am aware that this branch is soon moving premises but wow they have made amazing use of what looks like a small space and I can't wait to see what they do in their new place! Well done team Enigma Skegness. 

Ricky our host was amazing! Very helpful when giving clues and very quiet when coming to scare us!

Room was well themed and didn’t expect to get out the way we did.

I think the only thing missing was some back ground music. Seemed quiet at times and you could hear the rain hitting the roof above us.

Rob was great to speak to in regards to the booking process and gave us a discount being a fellow Game Host at a different location

Wonderful hosting, great story telling and a customisable experience for levels of jumpscares you wish. Very immersive experience and would recommend to anyone!

We as a group have done multiple escape rooms but this was the first one which had a horror theme and acting. 

It was really exciting and scary and made the progress slow in the room and added another dynamic to escaping the room.

The hosts Ricky and Rob were very entertaining and made the experience, would recommend to come and do if you’re in the area! 

By far one of the best escape rooms we have done! Despite not completing this experience was terrifying, immersive and engaging, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. There were twists and turns we didn’t expect and moments where my screams could of burst eardrums… 

The host was lovely and made the experience really enjoyable! 

Definitely recommend and will be looking forward to going again! 

Great room if you like the more creepy stories. 3 level of “interactive-ness” with the in game actor to suit your level of bravery…….

Plenty of puzzles to solve, but well laid out and flows well from one puzzle to the next.

4 of us did the Collector room. It was the first room we have encountered with different options of scare levels (we did level 2) which brought a new experience to the escape room format. The puzzles were well thought out and there was enough for each of us to do so that we weren’t all crowding around one clue.

The host, Rob, was very accommodating and clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about the escape room business.

We would definitely recommend trying this room - although, be warned, we did set the new record!

The puzzles were testing  but with some out of the box thinking you could get through 

I think another 10 mins max we would of get all of the tasks done 

We did 4 out of 6 could of got out but decided to carry on with 4 mins left but hit a wall 

Well thought out room 

The added scary bits did help with the game and the wife was crapping herself which was funny to see 

Rob does cater for all levels of bravery and brain power!!! 

I would definitely recommend this room to anyone 

Be bold and go level 3 on the scare factor

Fantastic way to spend a Friday morning...such a great team/group activity....we laughed until we cried!!!!!!..a must if visiting Skegvegas!!  Rob is a fantastic host/minder..😂👋

Wow!!! We returned today after doing High Noon yesterday! It was so well thought out and intense. Rob who runs it is soooo good and passionate! I would highly recommend this to absolutely anyone. Just be mindful you might need a spare pare of underwear

Again... great hosting by Rob. A more difficult room due to the unknown of what's coming. Started at level 3 and had to go down a level. Would suggest not to do as a pair if one of you is more jumpy and scared as can slow you down quite a bit. A vary of different types of puzzle. Enjoyable and would recommend (if you like the jumpy more scary style)

A real fun experience absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a good team building exercise 

This room is the best I have played! The room is both scary but fun at the same time. Really good story along with great theming and puzzles. You never know what is about to happen which makes the room even more fun. We were on edge the whole game. I would recommend this room to everyone as you can control the level of scares if you wanted. 

I would highly recommend this room.  We enjoyed it so much, we all had so much fun.  10 out of 10.  Can’t wait to try another one. 

Attended the new room at Skegness (the collector). We all screamed so much.. it's both terrifying and brilliant. You can control the level of scares before and during the game. 

Such hard work has gone into the making of the room and the clues. It's a real thinker. Rob was just brilliant with us. 

We will be back soon to try out the other room! Couldn't recommend enough. 

Rob the host went through the safety with us then delved straight into the story. He ask what level of scare we wanted and we went for maximum and he certainly delivered. We were jumping at every single noise. This was a fantastic game and we will be talking about this experience for many years to come. We loved it that much we went back to do the other room. 

This room was such good fun. There is an element of scare but the host did ask beforehand what level of scare you wanted. I’m not very good with anything scary so picked the medium level. At any point you can ask for it to be stopped and the host will cut out any future scares. Great room and atmosphere. Also is bonus ‘missions’ along the way which you can chose to complete. We managed 5/6. Looking forward to any new future rooms they have. 

This escape room was incredible. Myself and my girlfriend played this and we were so close to escaping (I blame my girlfriend for being so scared). The story was very interesting. The puzzles are not extremely hard, but not too easy either. Very well thought out and very interactive with great hosts. I would highly recommend The Collector. 

We thoroughly enjoyed this room, it’s one of our favourites and we’ve done a few now! The puzzles and the story were really good and well thought out - there was plenty for us all to be doing, no one felt like they had nothing to do.

The guy who ran the room was amazing! I was a bit nervous with it being a scary room with jump scares, but he put me at ease straight away and made sure we were all happy with the level of scariness. 

Would highly recommend!

The Collector is a must for all escape room fans. The interaction from the host "Rob" made it very special to play. A well thought out and executed story and room. We will definitely be back to play more. Would recommend everyone play this. Thanks Rob for a great game.
