The holding room prior to the game and the staff in there are super fun but the game itself wasn't anything groundbreaking compared to this so we found it a bit of a let down

Boring, plain linear room. The team photos you see online do not represent the experience as the way the photo opportunity area is decorated is far more intricate than the rooms themselves. The overall experience is extremely corporate and impersonal. Please don't bother.

Standard escape room. Plenty of padlocks, big use of riddles, racing aspect being the best bit.

A distinctly understaffed venue with only a couple of hosts for four or five teams that were started simultaneously so we ended up waiting around for everyone to be ready.

The room itself was extremely linear and overly focused on locks (although it had a few good non-lock puzzles). It had one very clever puzzle which the rest of my team couldn't believe the solution to (and which made me feel very smug). Sadly one of the puzzles had a red herring pointing to the wrong solution and it took a clue from the hosts to get us back on track (and even then I can't see how the clue in the room pointed to that solution and only got it because I'd seen similar ones in other escape rooms).

Reviews by escape room review sites

Having previously played all the other games at Locked in a Room, Milton Keynes and really enjoyed ourselves, we were thrilled when they had a refresh to replace a room with a new challenge. We grabbed a couple of friends and decided a Friday night was the time to have ourselves a bit of an escape ...
