More than 50 years after his death, you discover that a distant relative you knew nothing about has left you an inheritance as incongruous as it is fascinating: an antique shop in the heart of the city.

As you sign the deed, you can’t help but be reminded of this disturbing quote: “Antique dealers are looters of souls”.

We loved this room. We went a couple of minutes over the hour mark, but did solve all the puzzles. This room captured some of the initial excitement I felt playing my first ever room, as every reveal or step got a reaction from me. The hosting was great and they answered our questions and spent time chatting with us after the room. There were elements where we may have made better progress with a bigger team but there were no real drawbacks to playing as a two. I saw a review that said that the lighting wasn't great, and while it was overall quite dark, the lighting was also sometimes helpful in directing your attention and made thematic sense. We have discussed this room step by step three times since playing and probably won't stop any time soon! Defo recommend!

Trip Trap has taken over the Timescape location, which now goes by the name “Trip Trap Bazar”. With “Trip Trap Secret Floor” and the “Grand Trip Trap Hotel”, there are now three Trip Trap locations in Geneva. The former Timescape branch is no longer recognizable. The appearance has completely changed to a rustic antique shop with numerous displays in the shop windows. It is not obvious at first glance that this is an escape game provider.

We had played the Timescape rooms, “THE SECRET OF THE 3 PHARAOS” and “THE LOTUS TRAP”, 2020. The latter room was modified by Trip Trap and will continue under the same name. According to their own information, however, it is not recommended to play it again if you already know the original version. The second room didn’t really convince us at the time, so we were very curious to see how Trip Trap Bazar managed to redesign the pharaoh rooms, which were located in the basement of the building, into an adventure that made it to the Terpeca finals in 2022.
