Eddie O'Brien bought a plot of land in the hills of West Clare.  Against the advice of then locals, Eddie chopped down an old Hawthorn tree to make room for his cottage.  His neighbours warned him that the Hawthorn tree was a Faerie tree and a curse would befall anyone who cut it.  Since then, every generation of O'Briens to live in that cottage has suffered a sudden and unexpected death.  It happens always on a night with a strange and sudden storm, and the locals report hearing the wailing of a woman in the wind.   You have 60 minutes to find a way to appease the Banshee before she takes your life next!

We've done a few virtual escape rooms recently and this was one of the best. It was great that it was a virtual representation of a real room; made it a cut above the rest.

The first online escape room for half of us.

We all really enjoyed it.

Enough to do to keep us all interested.

We might even come over and do the real thing.

Keep up the good work.

This was excellent! I love escape rooms and the detail in this was unreal. I did another virtual escape room it was just reading information but I loved that you actually got to see a 3d version of the room! Definitely recommend

A great translation from real to virtual escape room. Great clues and input was not just locks though of course there were locks.

Great flow and good use of sounds to alert.

We did have problems with one puzzle (date) where the digital solution got in the way of answering the puzzle. A bit more explanation of format would have been good.

We were really happy with this one. Great value for money.

We do think there was a bug causing a player to miss a video that one other player saw.

This was a very clever adaptation of a live room into something that can be played without an avatar.  The cut scenes with an actual person unlocking locks etc. were a clever way of moving the game along while making it feel like you were participating in something "real".  There were two clues that I never ended up using, but I think I may have (somewhat unintentionally) "brute forced" one of the puzzles.  A little confused.  In any case, an enjoyable 75 minutes for a person playing alone.

One of the better telescape translations of a fun room with interesting puzzles.

This was a really fun game to play, with some cool original puzzles and a strong storyline. As regular Telescape users, there were a couple of things that could have been a bit smoother, but the game's character and playability far outweighed little niggles. Thoroughly recommend!

Challenging room. Sarah was a great avatar, making sure we get the full experience and ambience but also super responsive.

Would recommend to experienced players

The story of O’Brien’s Cottage is spooky to say the least! After chopping down a mysterious old tree and placing his cottage on the site of it, a curse befell the O’Brien house passing down from generation to generation… A banshee curse! One cold and spooky night the locals hear wailing from the cottage and it’s up to you to go and investigate.

This was a really well put together game and wasn’t at all what we were expecting. I guess you could loosely class this as a horror room, but really it would be great for all the family.
Escape Rooms Ennis only started their remote escape room experience a short awhile ago. In this short amount of time, they've perfected some of the hardest obstacles of translating physical rooms to online. They are late comers to the remote escape room world but definitely faster learners than some of the other companies we've seen out there. We love the fact that they listen to feedback and suggestions and is constantly improving the quality of their games. We highly recommend giving this room a try if you're looking for a smooth game play online.
