Step into 1942, when the world is at war. The Nazis have developed a series of devastating new superweapons that could obliterate Britain and win the war at a stroke.
As MI6’s top agents you’ve been chosen to find and destroy these fiendish inventions before they destroy us. The latest news from HQ is that the superweapons are primed and ready to launch, so you have precisely 60 minutes to discover their location, destroy them and save Britain.
The stakes couldn’t be higher – take too long and there won’t be any Britain left to save.

I was really excited to play this as I'd done other escape hunt rooms and enjoyed them.
Unfortunately, it felt badly designed. The way the puzzles worked wasn't clear, even with instructions for some of the systems it didn't make any sense.
Not sure if our host was very attentive. We picked up the phone once with no response. Then the second time they responded. We aren't sure if they should have the first time?
We also had a different game master start our session and then a different one at the end.
We weren't offered a team photo either.
Not terribly impressed unfortunately.

Great game!
Only flaw (as with many Escape Hunt games) was when the GM had to look/listen for us doing something to trigger the next step, rather than it being mechanical. Most of the time, this is fine, except when the GM isn't concentrating!
There was also an instruction sheet for a puzzle that literally made no sense to us, to which the GM said 'yeah, a lot of people say that'.

Took my parents along to this one, they were worried before that we would be playing against each other haha! It is a brilliant room, the theme and props and atmosphere are perfect. The challenge is tough and some great surprises here!

If you have previously read my of Blackbeard's Treasure at this venue, then you will know that this is the game we were offered to play for free after the disaster that was "That" room. If you haven't read it yet, go read it now and then come back here.
So as you can imagine, my first impression of the company wasn't great in anyway shape or form, however we were pleasantly surprised with this room and they certainly have won us back.
This room was fairly challenging, having to use a lot of logic and everything was perfectly on theme.
We did need a few gentle nudges in the right direction but with a little nudge in the right direction, we were soon back on track and our GM was really great at delivering clues. I would certainly recommend this room due to the teeming, decor and puzzle ingenuity

This was amazing!! I love it.
We had Luke as our GM again. He's brilliant.
If I had one negative, it would be that we did reach points were 2 or 3 people would be working on a puzzle, and the others would have nothing to do. The theme and puzzles were great though. It was a tough room, with a climactic finish, and apparently only a 20% escape rate!
I definitely recommend.

The Finest Hour was a really good room, we had a perfect time! I would not recommend the room for more than 4 people due to the size of the rooms. It was 6 of us attempting that room which resulted in 2/3 people just standing aside on some puzzles as the room couldn't take more. I believe this room is my favourite World War themed room so far.

Overall, this was an outstanding escape room. If you only do one in your life, this might be a contender. If you want to do a lot and are looking for somewhere to start… honestly maybe don’t do this one first. I have a feeling it would make any subsequent ones you do a little less engaging.
