The Panic Room Gravesend is proud to present our brand new family friendly escape room experience ‘Marvelous Magic School’
You and your friends are a determined group of wizards seeking to help out a friend. You see… they and their twin were snooping in the headmaster’s office, and accidentally triggered a hex! Their twin has been turned into an owl! Even worse, the professor locked them in a cage while he’s still looking for your friend. But, with a bit of luck, we can set their twin free before the professor figures out who it is!
Your stern professor is due back into his office in 75 minutes, just enough time to sneak in and use his transfiguration cabinet but ofcourse…It’s never that easy!

This game has put me off doing any other escape rooms with Panic Rooms at least before reading the reviews. Poor lightning. Did not like the host. Way too self-centered and power-hungry.
Repetitive puzzles. Who needs to work out the same thing six times? It almost feels like some puzzles were there for quantity and not quality.
Definitely would not recommend even at a discounted price, let alone full one.

story-drivengreat hostingmagicalquite difficult
This was a really tough game. Some of the puzzles we flew through but some of them although very simple were actually very difficult. Hosting was fantastic and the set is well designed. Don’t be fooled by the theme - I think young children would really struggle in here. For me it was perhaps a tiny bit too long - perhaps simplifying a tiny bit and reducing to 60 mins. But definitely a good game
We struggled so much with the first puzzle that I am embarrassed (and one of our team was ready to give up)! Once we got going we were fine, Mo the GM was great (and very much enjoyed being in character at the beginning and end).
Whilst expanding their domain in to other experiences and ideas, the Panic Room took their foot off the gas with escape rooms...so it's great to see them back with a well executed and visually appealing room! Fans of a certain wizard will thoroughly enjoy this game with intuitive, relatable puzzles to the theme. It may be on the more difficult side for a younger audience but a good comeback to escape rooms and recommended
While the set is certainly appealing for children, some of the puzzles were a little tricky for kids. One "searching" puzzle that could keep them occupied but mainly adult themed (based on difficulty) puzzles.
