Can you help? There have been multiple strange occurrences at the gallery recently, leading up to the missing artefacts. But not all is as it seems. 'The Caretaker' has disappeared too, with strange messages left in his stead. It's almost as though he's done this on purpose - but we know very little more.
We can supply the message from the caretaker, but have nothing else to go on.
Could you and your crack team come and help, and SOON!?

Any escape room enthusiast will know that rooms often feature secret doors that open up hidden areas - this room uses a clever trick to add a further surprise to that idea. One of the puzzles was a real irritant, the method being clear but the execution a pain (if you want us to count things, please don't make them so hard to see!), but the rest were smart and had plenty of variety, and there's a ton to do. A shame the room's closing, but I'm glad we caught it before it does.

Wow. What an original idea well executed. The first puzzle is simple enough to get you started, and from then on it really does feel like you are taking a journey through time and place. Not at all like you are just going to new parts of the room by opening a door or a panel, but actually using a specific process, and solving puzzles to make it happen. I was more fond of one main area than the other, but the variety and amount of puzzles in each were still varied and numerous. Amazing decoration, fun voiceover, agree some music in the background would be nice - just something gentle and instrumental, or something applicable to each area as you get there πŸ™‚ I know the hosts are always tweaking and listening to feedback so good on them!

clever

Great use of space and a clever mechanic utilised throughout the game. Good variety of puzzles that meant each member of our team could show off their strengths at least once. Would've liked to have had a soundtrack in this room as it felt eerily quiet at times!

Reviews by escape room review sites

The Guardian of the Gallery doesn’t feel like your average escape room. You can tell that this is built by an enthusiast who wants to push boundaries and create something different. This room is challenging, yet fair, and will likely be a firm favourite on the enthusiast scene for a long time to come.
There’s a nice dose of humour present throughout the game together with effective, charming world-building, not harmed by the 75-minute running time, which allows greater immersion than a usual hour-long slot.
We will just come out and say it – this is probably one of the most immersive rooms we have completed in the UK. Often with UK escape rooms you feel somewhat immersed but you cant quite overlook the fact you are in an ex-office building, this place bucks that trend.
