Beautiful theming and wonderful craftsmanship of the set. Good balance of puzzles and felt immersed throughout. Truly felt like we were in an underground mine!
Another spanish TERPECA game that was disappointing. I get the sense that when first built, it was really cool and unique as the set is decent and huge, but it has not been well maintained and there were broken bits of tech and lots of wear and tear to the set. Also, there's a toilet in the middle of the game, like a totally out of theme working toilet for customer use. Just really took me out of the theme to open a door and find that.
Mainly, it's the puzzles that were the worst offender. Most were either very straightforward and easy to solve, and lots were just illogical with poor signposting. Some were alright, but often used worn props that felt a bit naff. On one occasion, we asked the GM multiple times for help only to be ignored for a few minutes and then finally get a quite confusing hint - partly due to the language barrier I suppose.
Honestly, the game just felt designed around set and wow moments - of which there were definitely some unique and cool moments - and puzzles just felt an afterthought and there's been little maintaining of the set. Wasn't particularly impressed, especially given its high TERPECA rankings. Just play the Pit at Escapement Margate instead
Absolutely loved this escape room - I think I am on around 30-40 now and this is my new favourite. I love that it is a little bit longer (90 mins but we escaped in 75) as there is so much more to experience and it would have been a shame to remove elements to fit an hour. It is extremely immersive, as others have said you do get a little bit dirty but as long as you expect it that's fine and part of the fun! The hosting was good but a little keen with the clues particularly as we had so much time left. Quite a few elements in this room that I'd never seen before and a great mix of difficulties so that all team members can shine.
Great experience from start to finish. Feels authentic (be warned, you will get very dirty) and some genuine physical moments that I have not really come across playing elsewhere. Lots of puzzles. Excellent effects and set dressing is great. A bit out of the way but easy to get to on the metro and local train system, definitely worth it.

Barcelona boasts far more than its fair share of world class games, but La Mina was still notable for having won TERPECA awards in both 2019 and 2020, giving it a pedigree that’s hard to match.
At 90 mins this is a bumper size game. In fact, it’s pretty packed even compared to other 90 mins games. After playing a room, I normally make notes on the puzzles it contained, since otherwise the details fade rapidly from my mind. With La Mina that was a challenge - because it contained so. many. pu...
