Welcome to Springfield! Until today, the American town has lived a quiet and measured life. But something went wrong β€” all the residents disappeared somewhere, and the electrical appliances seemed to go mad. This is clearly not without the legendary cartoon family! Try to look into the house of Homer and Marge to restore order in it and bring peace to this provincial city.

Team size: 4 Outcome: Successful escape!

Simpsons theme is very colorful and fun for a game.  Objectively, only a 3-star room, but I liked the theme.

This was was the most inexpensive we've played and about $20 (payment online is in rubles). I'm a pretty die hard Simpsons fan, and yes, I even watch the new stuff. This had a great set, based on the familiar house. Puzzles were pretty standard for a Russian quest room, but it took us awhile to figure out what kind of game it was. Our biggest problem was communication. We thought we were communicating something pretty straightforward and we weren't sure if the avatar didn't do it because she didn't understand us or because it was the wrong thing to do. It was a little of each. We got out in about 45 minutes. If you're a big Simpsons fan and are patient with the process, this is probably worth the price.

The Moscow escaping scene has quite a reputation, and is dominated by one company above all: Claustrophobia. And while they have branches elsewhere in Europe (though fewer than they once did), a chance to sample one of their home city games was an opportunity to seize. They run a huge number of games, and have adapted quite a number to online play (including many genre variations including some that are a long way from anything I'd count as an escape room), but only a few are available in Englis...

All in all we had a nice 55 minutes but I have to admit that a more fluid camera movement and a more controlled sound would have improved the experience in a playful room, based on the mechanisms for fans of a Simpsons based universe.

If I can save Springfield, then maybe, just once, someone will call me β€œsir” without adding, β€œyou’re making a scene.”
