Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl that lived in an orphanage. She dreamed of having a room of her own and one day her dream came true. The orphan girl was welcomed by a kind hearted man and was granted a very room of her own. This room was beyond her wildest dreams, with a dressing table, a warm and cozy bed and a dollhouse with all of the dolls she could ever wish for. The little girl was the happiest and most fortunate orphan there could have ever been.
Little did she know that looks can be deceiving and that the loving man that took her into his safe arms wasn’t so lovely as she once thought. What happened to the orphan girl? Find out together with your team in this quivering escape room 2.0 adventure.

This is probably the only really horror-heavy escape room I've done, and in general I'm not sure I have the stomach for it, but I have no regrets about doing this room. It was immersive, had high-quality puzzles, and a great arc of tension throughout the game.

Of course Escape Room Nederland is not just The Dome! There are two more Escape Rooms, but they belong to the horror genre. THE LABORATORY – the first ER in the Netherlands! – and THE GIRLS ROOM, who will probably be known to most horror fans as one of the most creepy ER in the NL at that time. Meanwhile I think the Amsterdam Catacombs have probably outdone De Meisjeskamer in terms of scare factor.
Although The Girl's Room is already four years old, it managed to convince us. The stringent storytelling through the varied settings as well as the excellently used shock moments through light and sound gave us an hour full of goosebumps.
Cet été nous avons été bluffés par une salle à Vienne : Going Underground chez CrimeRunners. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer un des fondateurs : Lukas qui nous a parlé de sa passion pour les escapes et nous a surtout mis l’eau à la bouche en parlant d’une salle dans une petite ville aux Pays-bas : the Dome. Il avait les yeux qui brillaient en nous racontant que dans toutes les petites villes hollandaises on trouve...
