Our first game at Kamer 237 and we loved it! Despite being made for exactly two players it really provided quite challenging in places.
I really enjoyed the theming of the interview and the twists and turns this took as we progressed. The use of space in this game is small but utilised extremely well.
The puzzles were clever and a mixture between observational, physical and a little bit of maths. All made sense in the theme and helped to unlock a bit more of the underlying story.

A visit to Kamer 237 presents a small logistical challenge, in that their original game is minimum 3 players and The Concierge is designed for exactly two. I recommend finding a way to do both, such as bringing four people and taking turns even if each half of your group has to wait around while the others play. The venue’s lobby / bar makes a comfortable place to pass a schedule gap anyhow.

This room is designed for teams of 2, and as with all Kramer 237 experiences it is beautifully hotel themed and driven by a detailed narrative. You are there for a job, as new concierges, and we needed to prove that we are up to the task.
We were told that our prospective employer is not an easy man to please, so we should be fast and accurate. He will not be pleased if our progress is not up to scratch and he will be rather vocal with his scorn.
So we entered the room already prepared for an onslaught of insults, and we were faced with an office containing a variety of hotel-themed props and puzzles and a number of challenges to complete.
I can’t say too much about the room, because… spoilers, but there were points where we did get insulted, but also points where we get a little positive reinforcement. At times it really did feel like part of a job interview, especially when stress levels increased and your potential employer is showing displeasure.
